Celebrity Traitors’ star Richard E. Grant made another rather large slip-up on Friday but was able to save the moment with a cheeky comment.
The popular reality show made its welcome return to our screens last week, bringing with it a new batch of stars.
Among them is iconic actor Grant, who was quickly chosen as a Traitor alongside Love Island host Maya Jama.
While Jama used her ‘welcoming energy’ to try and throw the Faithfuls off the scent, Grant proudly declared that he was a Traitor to several of his fellow contestants leaving them absolutely flabbergasted.

Meanwhile, Celebrity Traitors producer Sarah Fay admitted that watching the scene had made her feel ‘a little bit sick’.
Speaking to Digital Spy, she admitted: "It was a mixture of a little bit of sick coming up in my mouth, and a [air] punch at the same time, it was – we’ve never had anything like that happen before. Within five minutes of being out of the Round Table, he’d already mucked up!

"How iconic."
And it seems speaking before he’s had a chance to think could be a fairly common occurrence for the 69-year-old star.
On Friday, he was invited along to Classic FM where he was tasked with calling the lucky winner of the ‘Cash Call’ to let them know they’d won a staggering £1.25 million – the biggest prize on UK radio in history.
The winner of the prize was ceramic tiler Andy from Essex, but when he picked up the phone to Grant there was no pre-amble or build up, with the actor getting straight to the point.
“Hello. Hi, it’s Richard E. Grant and I’m just calling to tell you that your life has changed forever, because you have just won £1.25 million” he said before Andy had even had a chance to get a word out.
Andy, who was on a video call with Grant, could be seen looking completely dumbfounded before managing to say: “Oh my God, I can’t believe this has happened.

“This is incredible.”
Seemingly releasing that he may have jumped the gun a little when telling Andy the good news, Grant then quipped: “Look, I have a tendency to get to the punchline too quickly sometimes.”
But it’s safe to assume that Andy won’t be too put out by the fact Grant was quick to get to the point.
When asked how he plans to spend the cash, he said he’d use some of it on a family holiday to his wife’s home country of Mauritius.
He told Grant: “We’re going to have a big holiday! A family holiday. My wife is originally from Mauritius, we’re thinking about going next year and visit some family. We couldn’t afford that so it was just a dream really.
“We were trying to go there one day, but hopefully that day has arrived.”
Over on Celebrity Traitors’ Grant’s fate has been left in the balance as the most recent episode ended on a cliffhanger with a possibility he could be banished.
