Daphne Joy issued a statement after a sex tape featuring her with Sean 'Diddy' Combs and another man was leaked.
The model, 39, said in a now-deleted post that she 'broke her own boundaries' to please Diddy, 56, who is serving a 50-month prison sentence on two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution.
“Everybody plays the fool sometime, and I have been the biggest fool,” she wrote in a since-deleted Instagram statement on Monday (1 June).
“I just wanted my man at the time to be happy and satisfied… I wanted to fulfill all his desires… even if that meant breaking my own boundaries. I deeply loved him… and I believed he loved me too.”

She added: “It’s still so painful for me to process the harsh reality and truth of that relationship, but as time passes and in my quiet moments, I realize that it was far from love.”

Joy, who reportedly dated Diddy from 2021 until his arrest in 2024, said she was 'never consented' to being filmed.
“I was blackmailed by the person in the video and was threatened that if I didn’t give him the lump sum of money that they would leak it on the web,” the actress, who shares son Sire Jackson, 13, with rapper 50 Cent, explained.
“l almost gave in to this demand, and once I didn’t, this person eventually sold this tape to a giant media outlet.
“Once the media company understood the tape they purchased was revenge porn and an extortion scheme, they backed off from broadcasting it.

“I know they are probably reading this, and I want to say thank you for doing the right thing… even though years later… it’s come back to haunt me again.”
Daphne said the tape was 'triggering and painful' to revisit.
“I knew the inner turmoil and pressures I felt in those moments,” she added.
“I was not and was never in my right mind throughout the entirety of that relationship. Seeing myself so lost is excruciating.
“I just want to hold that girl in that room and get her out of there… and tell her that wasn’t love and she didn’t need to do this for love. My heart is breaking as I type this.”
50 Cent responds to sex tape

Taking to Instagram, 50 Cent appeared to hit out at Joy, writing: "She’s not a victim, SIRE is can you imagine going to eighth grade to find out this is your mom. The court system in LA thinks it’s fine."
In a separate post aimed at Combs, he added: “Free Diddy he has gone through enough being born with no penis. LOL."
Diddy has filed a lawsuit against 50 Cent and Netflix over the 2026 documentary, Sean Combs: The Reckoning.
Daphne Joy named in 2024 lawsuit against Diddy
In 2024, Joy was mentioned in a lawsuit from Diddy's former producer Rodney 'Lil Rod' Jones, in which he claimed that she was allegedly on a list of women paid to 'act as Mr. Combs’ sex worker'.
Joy said at the time: "I am deeply hurt by the lies in Rodney Jones' lawsuit. The claim that I am sex worker is 100 percent false and character assassination.
"I am retaining an attorney to explore all legal remedies against both Rodney and his attorney."
