Footy legend David Beckham’s 2025 round-up post has sparked some controversy online, leaving fans with one question.
It appears to have been a rather tumultuous year for the Beckhams, with rumours of an internal familial struggle circling around the internet.
TMZ first reported that there were some 'issues' between Brooklyn, 26, and his younger brother, Romeo, 23, in April before he and his wife, Nicola Peltz, were noticeably absent from his mother, Victoria’s, 51st birthday celebrations in Miami that same month.
In May, it was also speculated that the Cloud23 hot sauce maker had missed his father’s birthday fishing trip with siblings Romeo and Cruz, 20.

Brooklyn and Nicola also missed out on appearing in Victoria’s three-part Netflix documentary, and allegedly didn’t congratulate David on his knighthood in November before he apparently covered up his tribute tattoo to the former Spice Girl.

And that isn’t even the whole story, so you can imagine that it has been quite drama-filled this year for the group.
But it seems like David has gone one step further as he's posted a 2025 highlights reel on Instagram that doesn’t include a lick of images of his eldest son.
Amid snaps of his parents, trophies, knighthood, dogs, and three younger children and his wife, Brooklyn was nowhere to be seen.
In the caption, the former footballer wrote: “I feel very lucky to have had the year I've had in 2025 full of moments that I will never forget from my 50th to my knighthood ( still pinching myself ) and then finishing with winning the MLS as an owner, I'm so grateful to my incredible wife, my amazing children, my friends and team I work with every single day nothing would have been possible without you all... But as Sir Alex Ferguson would say ‘Onto the the next’ Thank you for the incredible memories I will forever remember 2025 @victoriabeckham I love you & our kids.”
Some commenters were quick to notice Brooklyn's absence, with one speculating: “Brooklyn is clearly out of the picture.”

Another asked: “WHERE'S BROOKLYN AT?”
Someone else pointed out: “No Brooklyn featuring.”
However, it's worth noting that David did say he loves his ‘kids’, so he could have included all four within that statement.
In one of the most recent updates on the family, Cruz took to social media to dispel rumours that his parents ‘unfollowed’ his brother.
He shared on his Instagram Story: “My mum and dad would never unfollow their son.. Let’s get the facts right. They woke up blocked… as did I.”
Let’s see what 2026 brings for the Beckhams.
LADbible Group has contacted representatives of David for comment, and previously reached out Victoria, Brooklyn, and Nicola on the reported ‘feud’.
