Elsie Hewitt says ‘she’s raising child on her own’ confirming Pete Davidson split

Elsie Hewitt appears to have confirmed her split from Pete Davidson, after telling her followers she was raising their daughter on her own.

Hewitt, 30, and the former Saturday Night Live star, welcomed daughter Scottie Rose Hewitt Davidson back in December.

However, just five months on it was reported that the pair had parted ways.

Now, Hewitt appears to have confirmed the rumours in a clip shared on TikTok.

In the clip, Hewitt - who has been candid about motherhood in the past - began by hitting back at comments made about her appearance after she was recently photographed pushing a stroller through New York.

"Yeah, yeah, I know," she said in the clip.

"I'm exhausted, OK? I should've left the house looking nicer yesterday. I should've known that that was going to happen.

"That's not what I'm thinking about right now, because I have a baby to take care of.”

Hewitt then lowered her voice and continued: “And I also have to work and make money. I'm doing it on my own, which is hard."

She then said the criticism of her appearance was ‘noted’ and joked that she’d ‘try to look nicer’ next time she went on a walk with her young daughter.

A source close to Davidson has since issued a statement to PEOPLE in response to Hewitt's claims.

"Pete has made himself extremely available and has provided financial support,” the source said.

“Pete is actually covering all Scottie costs and more."

The insider went on to say that Davidson is ‘hoping Elsie has good health and success’.

Hewitt and Davidson first went public with their relationship in March 2025 and announced their pregnancy news just three months later.

On 12 December, Hewitt gave birth to Scottie Rose with the pair sharing the good news on social media a few days later.

The little girl’s name is a sweet tribute to Davidson’s late father, Scott Matthew Davidson.

Davidson was just seven-years-old when his firefighter father tragically died in the September 11 attacks.

Following the birth, both Hewitt and Davidson have been careful to avoid sharing images of their little girl’s face on social media, but have provided insights into how parenting was going.
