Frankie Muniz checked in with parents of Dewey actor after show ended to see how he was
Malcolm in the Middle star Frankie Muniz has revealed that he checked in with the parents of Dewey actor Erik Per Sullivan to see how he was doing.
Despite being a fan favourite of the sitcom, we haven't really heard much from Sullivan - now 32 - after the show's finale in 2006.
The last time we saw him on our cinema screens was in 2010 after he featured in a film called Twelve.

He did, apparently, create an Instagram account in 2020, but it's unverified.
Co-star Muniz gave his honest verdict about Sullivan in a 2022 interview with YouTube channel Malcolm France.
"To be honest, I don't know what he's up to," he explained.
"I hate to say that because I've talked to him a few times since the show ended.
"I've talked to his parents a lot. When I was in the band, we went and played in the city where he lives and his parents came to the show but unfortunately he couldn't make it.
"So I got to talk to them, and he's been all over doing a lot of different things.
"But one thing I know, some actors or some people just got to do it when they were a kid and then they wanted to experience other things and kind of live a more normal life out of the spotlight.
"I think that's what he wanted to do so good for him."
In January 2021, a picture was uploaded to the account showing Sullivan all grown up, and the same goes for a post in April that year.
Despite hundreds of comments asking him to respond, we're yet to hear much more from the elusive actor.
Still, here's hoping he's enjoying his life whatever he might be up to today.
During Mayim Bialik’s podcast Breakdown, Muniz revealed the cast had been sending emails together regarding a reboot, with everybody insisting ‘we gotta do this, we gotta do it’. So, let's hope if it happens that Per Sullivan will make an appearance.
In other Muniz news, the Malcolm in the Middle legend previously revealed a bit of a career change himself.
He revealed he wants to start racing and added to Dave Moody for SiriusXM NASCAR: “I just want to be in a race car, so as much seat time as possible is gonna be key for me the rest of this year and next year just to keep learning and progressing.
"That is the goal is to be in a Truck or doing ARCA National or both."
