Hayden Panettiere answered ‘what everyone wanted to know’ about sex life with Wladimir Klitschko

In her upcoming memoir, This Is Me: A Reckoning, Hayden Panettiere opens up about her sexuality.

The Bring It On actor has come out as bisexual as she says she it’s something she was ‘never able to share with the world’ due to it never being ‘the right time’.

As the 36-year-old says she has dated women, her relationships in the spotlight have included the likes of Stephen Colletti and Milo Ventimiglia.

And between 2009 to 2018, Panettiere dated Wladimir Klitschko, 50, on-and-off. The star was engaged to the Ukrainian former professional boxer in 2013 and welcomed their daughter, Kaya, the year after.

During their relationship, there was one big question a lot of people seemed to want to know about the pair – and their 1’5” height difference.

The Scream actor stands at 5’1” while her ex- fiancé measures in at 6’6” as she admitted during an appearance on The Ellen Degeneres Show in 2011: “He is quite a bit bigger than me.”

She then moved on to the question she would be "I get the prudest [sic] people coming up to me, and they're like, 'Does it work?'"

And without needing to explain it to anyone, the then 21-year-old star added: “Yeah, it works. We find a way.”

Ellen half-jokingly said she was ‘in shock’ as the actor said: “Where there’s a will, there’s a way!”

The host, seemingly still shocked, asked: “People ask you that?"

Panettiere confirmed it was the truth, as she explained: "And they're very conservative people most of the time. They just have to know. Like, have to know, 'I just have to ask you this question!'"

But while Ellen called it ‘crazy and rude’, the actor said she found the whole thing ‘amusing’.

Following her split from Klitschko in 2018, Panettiere had a number of stints in rehab and signed over custody of Kaya – something she also talks about in her memoir, saying it was ‘one of the worst days’ but ‘important’.

In a new interview with US Weekly, the actor said: “I have an incredible relationship with both of them.

“I’m so grateful for Wlad. We’re very close, and have had a deep friendship, along with a relationship, since I met him when I was 19.”

Panettiere added: “To see that we still have this bond and the ability to co-parent and show our daughter [that] even though we’re not together [it] doesn’t mean that there’s a lack of love here, and it doesn’t mean that you’re unsafe.”
