Hugh Jackman's ex-wife has officially filed for divorce, almost 30 years after the pair tied the knot.
The news was a long time coming, as the Australian actor split up with his long-time partner, Deborra-Lee Furness, two years ago.
Jackman and Furness have two adopted children together, and were married for 27 years before breaking it off.
But now, DailyMail reports that Furness has officially filed for divorce, in a situation that was described by the publication as not 'fully amicable'.
Reports have suggested that Hugh Jackman has started dating The Music Man co-star Sutton Foster in recent months, though neither have publicly commented on this.
It has emerged that Furness filed the complaint in New York on Friday 23 May, with details seemingly straightened out behind the scenes.
Jackman and Furness were married for 27 years (Cindy Ord/WireImage) Furness' lawyer, Elena Karabatos, submitted other filings as well, including a continuation of health care coverage, a proposed qualified medical child support order, a New York state case registry form, a certificate of dissolution, the settlement, and a proposed judgment of divorce.
Following a judge's approval on the complaints, Jackman and Furness will officially be divorced.
The publication further claim that Jackman sent a 'handsome spousal support payment' to his former partner, with any rumours of 'drama' being dispelled.
There were fears of the situation becoming 'messy', as a source once described the split as not 'fully amicable', though it looks like this may no longer be the case.
A source said to the publication: "A settlement was reached that Deborra is pleased with which includes a handsome spousal support payment.
"There was some back and forth regarding this financial agreement but, in the end, she got what she believed she deserved. Both are coming out of this financially secure."
They continued: "There is not going to be any drama with this gives closure that she needed.’"
Another source added that the divorce is 'non-contested', adding: "They have worked out the details in advance and everything is ironed out in terms of a settlement, alimony and the expenses for the future of their children."
They concluded by highlighting that they are 'fully committed to being the best parents that they can be.'

She conveyed a message of keeping the belief in a higher power, and that it had helped her 'navigate the breakdown of an almost three-decade marriage'.
"It can hurt, but in the long run, returning to yourself and living within your own integrity, values and boundaries is liberation and freedom," Furness added.
Highlighting that 'none of this is personal' and that everyone is on their own journeys, she concluded: "We are drawn to people, we invite them in, in order to learn our lessons and to recognize and heal the broken parts of ourselves...I remain grateful."
LADbible has reached out to Furness's representatives for a comment.
