Jenna Ortega has opened up on her future plans, as she detailed how she wants to 'leave time for new things'.
It might be hard to believe that Ortega is just 23 considering how long she has been in the limelight.
However, the American actress's work ethic began well before her time as Wednesday in the Netflix series.
Before that, she also appeared in the Netflix series You and also made a brief cameo in Marvel projects.

Prior to her Netflix career, she also worked on the sitcom Stuck in the Middle as Harley Diaz, and also on the Disney channel as a child.
Previously, Ortega reflected on her early start, telling Esquire that she 'was not actually looking after myself' as she continued to work on different projects.

“I wasn’t asking for a sip of water,” she recalled. “I would go all day without eating, drinking, whatever, because I wanted so badly to not be in the way of anybody.”
She added: "Maybe that was my mistake, was not actually looking after myself.”
But now, she has explained that she is considering leaving the limelight for a while and disappearing from our screens to give herself some time back.
In an appearance on Josh Horowitz's YouTube channel in an interview for the Happy Sad Confused podcast that was published yesterday (22 October), the actress revealed all.
In the video shared to his channel, Horowitz asked Ortega about whether the prospect of locking herself into 'an ongoing commitment of a franchise' scares her these days after having been in multiple over the years.
The Scream star has since explained that she hasn't 'had a lot of franchise [sic] conversations' lately.
Now, she has the mindset of what she's 'meant to do will come and find me' and that after Wednesday ends, she will 'probably be off the TV for a while.'
She explained her decision: "You know, I had many years doing that. I was bouncing from show to show as a kid."
"I want to leave time for new things," Ortega added.

In her Esquire conversation, the star explained that being a child star began and never ended.
“I was seven years old when I said I wanted to do this,” Ortega said. “My parents laughed at me when I told them that I wanted to do it, and then that was kind of the root of everything. The motivation. And I never really stopped, because I’m very stubborn. And then I never questioned it.”
She also said that she had it 'going for' her as a child, and the opportunities were fresh.
“I really had it going for me as a child ‘cause I can’t think of one mistake I made. Is that a terrible thing to say?," she asked. "I feel like I make mistakes now all the time, but as a child, I was so grateful and so excited to be there that my game face was on.”
