Johnny Depp might be best known for portraying the thieving pirate Jack Sparrow but now the iconic actor has had to deal with money of his own being stolen.
And it's no small sum either, with an alleged fraudster managing to nick over £500,000 from the 62-year-old across the past two years, after his bank details were seemingly leaked online.
The most incredulous part of it all might well be that Depp apparently didn't even notice that someone was stealing from him - oh to be so rich that you don't notice £530k is missing - but now it seems as if police have finally found their man.
Police footage from Budapest recently captured the moment that riot cops broke down the door of a 27-year-old who is accused of stealing from Depp by utilising small transactions over a long period of time.

The man, from Jordan, was then escorted away from his property in the city’s Angyalfold district after investigators had initially traced the suspicious transactions to his location.

Investigators are reportedly aware of 308 different transactions from Depp's card between January 2024 and December 2025, with online purchases and hotel bookings seemingly the main focus of the alleged fraudster.
After raiding his apartment on 6 May, the man found himself in double the trouble as drugs were discovered, which saw a second investigation launched into drug possession.
Although the man denies all the claims, his pre-trial detention has reportedly already been ordered, with investigations now focused on working out exactly how the man was able to obtain Depp's American Express details.
If Depp's millions weren't already enough from his various acting roles over the past few decades, then the amount that was stolen was also just a drop in the ocean compared to the amount he was awarded following his infamous trial with ex-wife Amber Heard.

Following six weeks of deliberations and a huge amount of public scrutiny, the Edwards Scissorhands star was awarded roughly $15 million (£12 million) in damages.
Heard had accused Depp of being an abuser and the American was willing to fight tooth and nail to dispute that, even if it left him 'pumping gas'.
“Look, it had gone far enough,” he told The Sunday Times. “Everyone was saying, ‘It’ll go away!’ But I can’t trust that. What will go away? The fiction pawned around the f***ing globe? No it won’t.”
“So the night before the trial in Virginia I didn’t feel nervous. If you don’t have to memorise lines, if you’re just speaking the truth? Roll the dice.
“I’ll fight until the bitter f**king end.’ And if I end up pumping gas? That’s all right. I’ve done that before,” he added.
