JoJo Siwa reveals what really happened during breakup with Kath Ebbs at CBB afterparty

JoJo Siwa has opened up on her side of what really happened with Kath Ebbs at the Celebrity Big Brother (CBB) afterparty.

Following the 21-year-old forming a close ‘platonic’ friendship with Chris Hughes and racking up more of a name for herself here in the UK, she finished 3^rd place in the live final last week.

But after much of the young star’s sexuality and relationship was put under the spotlight and widely discussed online, her then-partner revealed they'd been ‘dumped’.

Ebbs took to social media on Saturday (26 April) with the claim Siwa had broken up with her at the CBB wrap party the night before.

The Aussie accused the Dance Moms star of ‘love-bombing’ them and said they were left ‘humiliated’.

“Before I could even get back to the hotel I… it’s actually crazy… I went to the afterparty with my now ex, and was dumped in the party,” Ebbs claimed.

"I was told there were confused feelings there and they had realised in the house I wasn’t the person they wanted to spend the foreseeable with."

Siwa has now addressed what went down at the afterparty as she says what has been told is ‘not entirely the story’ during an appearance on The Viall Files podcast.

While she doesn’t name them, the ‘Karma’ singer says her partner had said they didn’t ‘want to come’ to the party but she still wanted to go along. And as it would be a late finish, she’d head to her separate hotel and then ‘reconvene tomorrow morning and not upset them’.

“Rightfully so, they wanted to be with me, but I knew I wasn't in a place for them,” Siwa explained. “I'm already having all these crazy thoughts that I've been having in the house, and I need to formulate them. I need to talk to my mom. I need to be alone. I need to look at my phone. I need to see what's going on. I need to realise ‘what am I feeling? What are these thoughts?’ I'm not in a place to talk, so I'm in a place to have a fun, cute opening conversation, but I'm not in a place to actually talk yet.”

Siwa then said Ebbs ‘changed their mind’ about an hour in, and although the star warned them it’s ‘not really your scene’, they came along.

The pair then started ‘to have a conversation’, so she pulled them aside and ‘was going to lead the talking’. However, Ebbs ‘kind of led the talking’ and all the star could answer ‘to every question’ is just ‘I don’t know’.

“And all of a sudden, we’re at the wrap party for Big Brother, I’m getting cussed out,” she said, with a security guard checking on her.

“I understand why they’re angry and why they’re coming at me, but I also keep reiterating, I’m not in a place to talk.

“I was just with 13 people down to six, locked away for 20 days. I haven't spoken to anybody. I'm now in a room with 200 people. We're in this hut. It's outside. I haven't slept in 24 hours.”

So, she hit a breaking point.

“By the you know, 16^th time somebody asks you, ‘are you happy? Do you want to end things?’ You're gonna just spew your guts,” Siwa explained. “And I was honest. I said, ‘If you ask me tomorrow, I don't know my answer. If you ask me right now, my answer is yes.’ That obviously was taken as ‘yes’, and it was a yes and whatever. But then they didn't want to be alone. So I was like, ‘All right, look, come to the hotel. We can continue talking’.”
