Kelly Brook earned her spot on I'm a Celebrity as a last-minute addition, which could land the model an eye-watering sum of money.
ITV confirmed their 10 celebrities for this year's version of the iconic show, with Brook joining the likes of Aitch, Angry Ginge and Ruby Wax down under, even though the model had previously confessed that she wouldn't ever go near it.
The 45-year-old has enjoyed something of a lifestyle renaissance since meeting her current husband Jeremy Parisi, with the married duo appearing together on BBC's Race Across the World last year, and that wasn't the only race she completed, as she also ran the London marathon.
And it seems as if this new attitude to life saw her finally agree with ITV bosses for a deal to bring her on the show, which a PR expert has suggested could land her a serious fee, even if it's slightly short of the huge figures paid to Coleen Rooney and Nigel Farage on previous editions.

Expert Riley Gardiner told the Daily Mail: "It's also worth remembering that Kelly publicly said back in 2018 that she would never do I'm A Celeb. She joked she'd refuse even if she had a huge tax bill.

"When someone makes a statement like that, it becomes part of the negotiation. If you want them to reconsider, the offer has to be meaningful.
"The reports that she was a last-minute call-up are telling. Late additions almost always negotiate from a position of strength: producers may have had other names fall through, or they needed a recognisable, broadly appealing personality to round out the lineup, and Kelly ticks every box.
"If ITV were trying to secure a nostalgic but still current figure at short notice, they would absolutely have had to pay a premium."
According to Finance Monthly, the star could pocket around £300,000 for her stint in the jungle, which suddenly makes the spiders and sheep's testicles seem far more attractive.
Gardiner added: "Kelly is what I’d call a classic British household name.
"She's not an A-list celebrity in the current sense, but firmly in that A-/B+ tier where most of the public knows who she is.
"Over the past year she’s stayed consistently visible: she’s continued her Heart Radio work, appeared on Celebrity Race Across the World, and expanded her business ventures with branded wines, spirits, food products and wellness lines.
"That mix of nostalgia value and ongoing relevance puts her well above the standard £50k–£120k range you’d see for lesser-known TV or soap personalities."

Brook, who is also known for a string of A-list ex-boyfriends including Jason Statham and Danny Cipriani, both of whom she admitted to hitting during their relationships, has also revealed why she finally agreed to do the show, having rather humorously suggested back in 2018 that it was 'the beginning of the end'.
Revealing why she finally decided to say yes, Kelly said: "I didn’t think it was ever in me to do the challenges and Bushtucker Trials.
"But since I have been with my husband, we have done a few things that I’ve surprised myself by. We did Race Across the World, and I ran the London marathon this year – two things I never thought I had in me.
"I’m such a fan of the show that I thought, 'Maybe I could do it, maybe I could cope.' I won’t know unless I try and so I am going to throw myself into it."
She also revealed her biggest fear ahead of the show, saying: "I am terrified of escalators, especially really steep ones."
Fortunately, I don't think they'll have too many escalators on set, but getting there from the airport might prove to be a bit tricky.
