Kris Jenner has heartbreakingly announced the death of her mother Mary Jo 'MJ' Campbell aged 91, writing that 'love like yours never truly leaves us'.
The beloved socialite, who appeared on several episodes of Keeping Up With The Kardashians as well as their other reality shows, died on Thursday 16 July.
“Today, we said goodbye to my beautiful Mommy MJ,” Kris Jenner wrote on Instagram.
“There are no words that could ever capture what she has meant to me or the heartbreak of having to say goodbye.

"My mom was the heart of our family. She taught me everything that truly matters … to love your family fiercely, to be kind, to show up for the people you love, and to never take a single moment together for granted."

“She taught us that family is everything. She showed us how to love unconditionally and how to find joy in the little moments,” continued Kris, 70.
“She showed me how to face life’s challenges with resilience and faith.
"Mom, thank you for every sacrifice you made, every piece of wisdom you shared, and every moment you loved us so completely.
"I will miss our daily talks, your smile, your laughter… Our hearts are broken, but we find comfort knowing that love like yours never truly leaves us.
"Your love will live on in our family, in our traditions, in every moment we are together, and in every life you touched.”
Back in November 2025, Kris admitted in an interview with People that she still spoke with her mother every day as she sought out advice, while also suggesting that she wanted her to move in with her.
"I try to get her to move in with me, but she refuses. She's so independent, which I admire and love," Jenner said.
The 91-year-old had already beaten breast and colon cancer, and Kris had previously opened up about fearing for her mother's long-term health as she became more frail with age.
She said on The Kardashians: “I know my mom struggles with so much right now because she is 90 and she’s frail.
“Ever since my sister passed away, she’s been super sad, like we all have, and I know that I need to be there for her.”

Kim Kardashian also weighed in with some concerns for her grandmother's health.
“When she had cancer, the radiation shrunk her intestines, so once a year she had these crazy fits where she would be throwing up all night and literally think she was gonna die,” Kim said on an episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians.
MJ was grandmother to Kris's six children: daughters Kourtney Kardashian, Kim Kardashian, Khloé Kardashian, Kylie Jenner, Kendall Jenner, and son Rob Kardashian.
