Lamar Odom has cast doubt on Khloe Kardashian's claims about a deal she reportedly struck with his late dad.
The former NBA star, 46, said he believes the conversation that supposedly took place between his former wife and father Joe Odom must have 'got mistranslated'.
In a new interview, Lamar expressed his disbelief about the claims that Khloe made while appearing in Untold: The Death & Life of Lamar Odom, insisting that his dad was actually his 'biggest fan'.
The hard-hitting Netflix documentary delved into the ex-basketball player's long-standing struggles with drugs and alcohol, as well as his former spouse's dedication to helping him.

Lamar suffered a near-fatal drug overdose at a Las Vegas brothel back in 2015, which resulted in him being placed in a coma.
During this time, he suffered 12 strokes and six heart attacks - but miraculously came back from the brink, despite doctors initially telling him he would 'probably never walk and talk again'.
Although she had already filed for divorce from him, Khloe admirably stayed by his side throughout this difficult time. The pair got married in September 2009 - 30 days after they first met - before splitting in 2013.
"This is my husband," she said while reflecting on this period in Untold: The Death & Life of Lamar Odom. "Through sickness and health, I have to be there for him. I have to show up for him.
"And I was gonna do everything I could to make sure that he had the best fighting chance. I just trusted myself more than I trusted anyone in his circle."
Lamar has come a long way since then and recently celebrated being 60 days 'completely sober', while explaining he now 'just wants to live my best life and be happy'.
He sat down to discuss baring all in the documentary on Monday (6 April) during an appearance on Today with Jenna and Sheinelle.

When the hosts praised Khloe for 'riding hard for him' and 'saving his life', they then asked if Lamar shares this perspective towards the mother-of-two.
He responded: "In some ways...God saved my life. My lord saved my life, honestly. Yeah, [Khloe] took care of me, but God took care of me the most. What I came back from is like a medical miracle."
The pair then asked Lamar about Khloe's claim that his father Joe told medics to stop providing life-saving care to him when he was in a coma.
In the documentary, the reality TV star claimed: "His dad was there, I assume thought he’s now the beneficiary to Lamar and Joe just said ‘don’t put him on life support, turn those machines off’.
“I remember walking in around that time and I kid you not it was a scene out of a movie, I was like ‘sorry Joe, I’m still his wife, what do you need?’”

Kardashian said that Lamar's dad, who died in 2021, asked for ‘$100 and a pair of Nikes’ and that after she gave him this he ‘never came back’.
However, the sports legend has revealed that he doesn't believe that his father would have done that.
"If you know Joe Odom, I don’t think that’s something he would ever come out of his mouth," Lamar said. "He was my biggest fan. I don’t know where that got mistranslated. I just can't see him ever, ever doing that."
He then went on to discuss what he really thought of reuniting with Khloe on camera during an episode of The Kardashians in February last year - revealing that he found it 'awkward'.
"It was awkward, and it wasn’t really good for me," Lamar said. "But once you’re family, you’re always family, so she ain’t going nowhere."
The New York-born star said although he will 'always have love for' Khloe, their relationship won't ever be romantic again.
