Logan Paul has weighed in on the drama surrounding KSI's decision to leave Sidemen after reaching out to his Prime co-founder.
In case you missed it, KSI, whose real name is Olajide Olayinka Williams Olatunji, shocked fans on Sunday (31 May) after announcing he was leaving the Sidemen after more than 12 years.
"This is honestly the hardest video I’ve ever had to make in my life,” he said in a video shared to his YouTube channel.

“I’ve gone back and forth on this decision for a very long time.
"I’ve spent months trying to figure out what the right thing to do is. But after a lot of thought, I’ve decided that I’ll no longer be doing Sidemen videos. Today, 31st of May, will be my final Sidemen video.”
The news blind-sided his followers and also came as a big ‘surprise’ to the Sidemen.
Yesterday, KSI shared another statement giving further details into his ‘sad’ decision.
In a post on Instagram, he wrote: "I know this news has been hard to deal with.
"I know that some people don’t want to believe it. But it’s real. I will be leaving the Sidemen. Writing this is just sad. I’m sad. Of course I’m sad.”

Now, Prime co-creator and pal Paul has weighed in on the matter, and shared KSI’s reasoning behind the shock move.
During a recent episode of his Impaulsive podcast, co-host Mike Majlak said he thought the whole thing was ‘cap’ and that the Sidemen were playing fans ‘like a fiddle’.
Majlak said: “They want us to believe they’re having some sort of breakdown, so everybody tunes in from all over the world, and then they say what’s going on here… and then suddenly they come back with a new product.”
Paul then chipped in to reveal that he had actually reached out to KSI for the inside scoop and confirmed that it was real.
“I said the same thing,” Paul admitted. “I said, ‘no way, that’s not possible, this has got to be work.’”

But then he got in touch with KSI to ask him if it was ‘work or a shoot’.
“He said, ‘it’s real,’” Paul said.
“He said, ‘it’s been 13, 14 years’.
“I don’t want to air out his information but generally, he was excited to get some time back for himself and for what he wants to do with his life.
“He’s growing as a creator, and as a person - as we all are. He’s an adult now and he just wants time and Sidemen was taking a lot of time. It’s a massive channel and their output is a lot.”
He finished by saying: “As far as I know… I thought it was fake, but KSI leaving the Sidemen looks like a real thing.”
