Former NFL star Matt Kalil has filed a lawsuit against Haley Kalil following his ex-wife's comments about the size of his manhood.

The American footballer, 36, was married to the content creator, 33, for seven years before filing for divorce in 2022. Kali remarried in 2024 to Keilani Asmus, with whom he shares one child.

In November, Haley suggested in an interview that one of her reasons for the split was the size of the offensive tackler's member. She thought the former athlete's penis was 'like 0.01 per cent of the population' and that it was 'impossible' to have sex.

“That’s why I can’t put it on the internet. We tried it all,” she told Twitch streamer Marlon Garcia. “He was like two Coke cans on top of each other, maybe even a third.

“I was going to try it all — therapists, doctors [and I] looked up lipo-type s**t, you know what I mean?”

The former Carolina Panther has now accused Hayley of 'invasive commentary' in documents obtained by TMZ on Tuesday (6 January).

The lawsuit states she 'implied that the size of Plaintiff's genitalia was a primary factor in the parties' divorce and claimed that sexual intercourse with Plaintiff would leave her in tears'.

Matt's lawyers said he had been subjected to 'unwanted attention and invasive commentary from the public', adding that his family members 'have been forced to endure the ongoing public circulation of these degrading and deeply personal statements'.

The filing, which seeks more than $75,000 in damages, accuses Haley of receiving 'substantial financial benefit, increased viewership, increased engagement, and monetization through various social media platforms and media coverage'.

Matt has requested a jury trial and damages on all causes asserted in the complaint.

In a statement provided to US Weekly, Haley said she was stunned by the filing.

“I am genuinely shocked and incredibly hurt upon receiving the news of this filing,” it read. “Litigation is a harrowing and emotionally draining experience, and I am heartbroken that he is choosing to subject us and our families to this ordeal.”

After her comments hit headlines, the former Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model told Page Six that it is 'unfortunate' that only one part of her interview was being talked about, as it 'doesn’t capture the full story of how meaningful things were to me'.

“I hope our hour-and-a-half-long conversation reflects more than a funny soundbite," she said. “I care deeply about respecting his privacy and the integrity of what we shared together.

“During our livestream, we talked about so much more than what’s being highlighted — the love in our marriage, the growth we experienced, the depth of our connection.”

LADbible Group has contacted Haley and Matt's representatives for comment.
