Truth behind Megan Fox’s appearance after cruel backlash over photos

The internet is being bombarded with photos and videos which claim to depict Megan Fox looking different, often with the account posting them asking what happened to her.

Pictures of Fox lined up against stills of her in movies from quite some time ago now have been doing the rounds on the internet.

The comments are packed full of other accounts robotically saying some variation of the same thing which ultimately boils down to a criticism of her appearance compared to how she used to look a couple of decades ago.

Some of the images shared appear to have been mucked around with digitally as well, so it's not even her face people are having a go at.

The truth is that's not actually what Fox looks like at the moment, the pictures of her face were taken last year just after she'd given birth to Saga Blade Fox-Baker, her daughter with Machine Gun Kelly.

It's not just pictures and captions being used to attack her, a weird video which appears to show Megan Fox sliding on the floor at someone's birthday party before sticking her face right up to the camera has also been circulated.

In case you were wondering, no it most certainly is not real.

You can tell it's been made with AI because on the tweet just under the video there's a bit that says 'made with AI'.

Also, if you think about it, the chances of Megan Fox being booked for someone's birthday party to do knee slides across the dancefloor are quite unlikely.

Another clue for the intrepid internet investigators is that it's been posted by an account which says it's 'making AI do things it shouldn't'.

On top of that, the knee sliding is ripped from a video of a Michael Jackson impersonator, so someone has made an AI do that clip but with Megan Fox in it instead.

You might be wondering what the point of these images and videos is supposed to be, and it looks like the engagement and shame is the purpose.

Create a bunch of content designed to open someone up to criticism of their appearance and watch the comments roll in, then see others pile in with the same.

It works from the other end as well, as Fox's appearance was recently used to attack Machine Gun Kelly as people shared a fake post supposedly from his account lamenting that they broke up.

The singer hit back and nipped that idea in the bud rather quickly, however, as he replied to an attempt to share the falsehood that it was 'fake'.

If you want to shame someone just post a picture of them where the aging process has occurred and suggest they've done something wrong, that's why fake, doctored or misleading content is getting shared around.
