Rebecca Loos slams Victoria Beckham in response to family drama

The former PA of David was 'so happy' to see Brooklyn's statement

While the viral discussions around the Beckham drama has somewhat quietened down, some are still itching to have their say.

Brooklyn Beckham shook the internet earlier this month when he made a very public statement against his family, with claims of an ‘inappropriate’ dance from his mother Victoria, and putting the ‘brand’ first.

And as memes quickly started doing the rounds, podcasts quickly churned out episodes and documentaries were speedily made, a fair few talking heads popped up.

And now Rebecca Loos is the latest to give her take on the divide.

The former model, who alleged in 2004 she had an affair with David, initially wrote on social media that she was ‘so happy’ to see Brooklyn ‘standing up for himself’.

“I have felt so bad for his poor wife,” Loos said of Nicola Peltz, “knowing too well what they can be like!"

She also quoted part of the eldest son’s statement to say the ‘truth always comes out’.

And now, the former PA of David has weighed in further as she features in Channel 5’s documentary The Beckham Feud: Truth and Lies (airing on Sunday 1 February).

In a clip from this, she slams Victoria following the claims around her dance with Brooklyn at his wedding in 2022.

It has been said the former Spice Girl ‘hijacked’ her son’s first dance with his wife, when Marc Anthony asked for the ‘most beautiful person in the room’ to take to the floor, referencing Victoria. This apparently led to Peltz leaving the room in tears.

“Whether it came from her or whether it was Marc Anthony is beside the point because it shows a lack of awareness for other people's feelings,” Loos said.

“I think any other mother would've read the room and understood this is awkward and probably said, ‘Thank you for the compliment, but the most beautiful woman in the room is Nicola, Nicola, please take this dance.’”

She went on to add that if the mum was ‘unable to read the room’ after a few ‘too many’ wines, then maybe the husband should have ‘stepped in’ and swapped the partners over.

Loos also drew comparisons between Brooklyn’s allegations and her own media-shaking interview in 2004 when she sold her story to claim David was having an affair with her.

“Suddenly you're part of a big PR war. In a very small way, this is of course validation for what I said and came forward and said 22 years ago,” the reality TV star said.
