Selma Blair was arrested yesterday (11 October) following an alleged violent incident on board a Delta Airlines flight.
The Cruel Intentions star allegedly punched a flight attendant and bit another, after attempting to open the aircraft's door mid-flight, according to TMZ. It's reported she has since been charged with two counts of assault - one on a police officer and another on a nurse.
Travelling from LAX, Los Angeles, to John F. Kennedy International Airport, Blair was reportedly taken into custody in New York and transported to a hospital for evaluation.
Variety confirmed the Legally Blonde actor's identity with the Port Authority. According to a source for the outlet, the FBI is currently investigating the incident.

Two flight attendants reported injuries following the ordeal with one of them receiving care at a hospital.

And a Delta Airlines spokesperson told LADbible: “Delta has zero tolerance for unruly or unlawful behaviour, as the safety of our customers and crew always comes first.”
A representative for the 54-year-old added to TMZ: "Selma experienced a medical emergency that led to the alleged conduct.
"Upon landing, she received immediate medical attention and is currently in stable condition."
Despite the alleged issues on the flight, it arrived ahead of schedule at JFK at around 11pm local time.
Blair reportedly remains in hospital.
The actor is best known for her roles in the likes of Cruel Intentions, Legally Blonde and the Hellboy franchise. In 2018, she was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis (MS) and has been open about her condition.
Blair was previously removed from a flight on a stretcher in 2016 after having a 'total psychotic blackout' while travelling with her then four-year-old son.
