Seth Rogen has revealed the only time he's stopped smoking weed in the past 14 years – and it was for a pretty serious reason.
The Superbad star has long been open about his daily use of the green stuff - which is legal in several US states - over the years, previously saying he'd gotten high every day since age 20.
"I equate it [smoking weed] to shoes or glasses," Rogen explained in a previous podcast interview.
"Are shoes like a crutch we use? Or are they things we have culturally decided make our lives easier and better? That is exactly how weed is to me."

However, there were three days in the past two decades when he made the decision to forego marijuana and for very good reason.
So, what caused Rogen to have a brief change of heart? Well, that would be strict cannabis laws enforced in the city-state of Singapore.

Recalling his trip to the Southeast Asian country in 2011 in an interview with Howard Stern, Rogen said: "They will literally f**king kill you if you smoke weed in that country.
"They put a little thing in your passport when you arrive, that says: 'If we find drugs on you, we will execute you'.

"So that was a scary walk through the airport in Singapore."
Stern then pointed out that the threat of execution is a 'good deterrent' against drug use, to which Rogen joked: "Getting killed is a good deterrent. If you ever have a drug problem, go to Singapore."
Stern then asked Rogen if he experienced any 'withdrawals' during his 72 hours, with the comedian joking he found plenty of other ways to 'get f**ked up'.
"Luckily you can just drink yourself into oblivion in Singapore. They don't give a sh*t about that," he added.
What are the laws regarding drugs in Singapore?
Rogen wasn't joking around with his comments, as the laws regarding the possession and usage of drugs in Singapore are notoriously strict.
Under the law, it is illegal to consume cannabis both recreationally and for medicinal purposes.

Get caught with weed or using the drug? Then you can expect a maximum penalty of ten years in prison, a hefty fine or even caning.
Meanwhile, anyone found guilty of trafficking, importing or exporting the drug - including marijuana - could end up facing the death penalty.
Singapore is one of 32 countries which executes prisoners for such offences, with other nations including China, the Philippines and Indonesia.
Outside of Singapore, Rogen is still a fan of getting high, with the 43-year-old previously revealing to LADbible that he's a 'little stoned all the time'.
