Vin Diesel has praised his Fast & Furious co star Dwayne Johnson after their infamous feud.
The actors met when former wrestler Johnson was cast as Hobbs in the action franchise back in 2011. However, in 2016 it became apparent that all was not well on set, with Johnson infamously hitting out at a 'chicken s**t' and 'candy ass' co star, with the comments appearing to be aimed at Diesel.
Diesel himself would address the feud rumours in 2021, saying that he believed the cause of his fallout with the Black Adam star was down to his 'tough love' approach on set.
"Hobbs hits you like a ton of bricks. That’s something that I’m proud of, that aesthetic. That took a lot of work," he told Men’s Health at the time.

"I would do anything I’d have to do in order to get performances in anything I’m producing," he added.
The feud would appear to be over two years later when Johnson made a surprise cameo appearance as Hobbs in Fast X in 2023 and fans can now rest easily when it comes to the future of the franchise, as Diesel and Johnson appear to have completely squashed their beef.
Taking to Instagram, the 58-year-old shared a throwback photo of him and Johnson on set together alongside a lengthy caption praising the Moana actor for his performance in recent film The Smashing Machine.
"One of the greatest gifts in life isn’t something you can buy, it’s the relationships forged along the way," he wrote.

The actor went on to reveal that he'd known Mark Kerr, whose story is at the centre of The Smashing Machine, ever since moving to California before going on to share praise for Johnson.

"Let me celebrate Dwayne," he wrote. "People don’t understand what it takes to uphold a global perception every single day. I remember asking our global family who they’d love to see me work with, and a woman named Jan left a comment saying her dream was for me to collaborate with Dwayne. What followed became one of the most dynamic pairings in cinema, two strong personalities who pushed each other and created something unforgettable. When he stepped into Hobbs, he did it with full commitment and left an indelible mark on Universal’s character hall of fame.
"Proud of you both."
