The Actor Who Plays Janice From Friends Sounds Nothing Like The Character In Real Life

OH MY GOD - or 'fucking hell' as us northerners usually say - the actor who played Janice on Friends appeared on This Morning and people of the Internet freaked out because she sounded normal.

Breaking news guys: actors are sometimes acting.

Maggie Wheeler, who starred as Chandler's on-off girl in the series, was appearing on the show to plug 'Friends Fest', a festival to celebrate all things Friends.

In the clip she discusses how the character was developed and why Janice had such longevity on the show.

Instead of the shrill accent fans recognise her for - Wheeler, shockingly, spoke with a standard American intonation.
