EastEnders star Danny Dyer kicked off at the British Soap Awards last night after he was denied the award for best male actor, with it instead won by Danny Miller out of Emmerdale.
The Sun reported that during an interview on the red carpet Dyer refused to speak to a reporter, instead mumbling incoherently into the mic, whilst co-stars Kellie Bright and Luisa Bradshaw-White - who play his wife and sister on the show - tried to grab the mic off him.
They also reported that the 38-year-old 'party animal' seemed rather 'merry', which I reckon is code-word for pissed.

Fackin' hell.
To be fair to him, if I lost out for an award to somebody out of Emmerdale I'd be pretty raging too.
Speaking before the ceremony, Danny told the Daily Mail: "'If I don't win I'll be gutted. I'll be absolutely gutted, I ain't going to lie to ya. Everyone will say they'll be fine with it, but I will be really upset and I will sob me heart out."
So I guess they should have been prepared.

Personally I think Danny Dyer is a legend and that the British Soap Awards has undermined its credibility as a prestigious award ceremony by failing to recognise his achievements as an actor, geezer and all-round lad.
For just one example of why Dyer is a legend, check out these foul-mouthed makeovers he did of classic TV programmes...

Who's this Danny Miller lad think he is anyway? Taking Danny Dyer's award.
