Out of all the crappy reality TV dating shows, The Farmer Wants A Wife surely stood out as the wholesome one.

While there are plenty of dickheads out there that go on shows like Love Island or The Bachelor just to get a blue tick on Instagram, it seems like the people who sign up for The Farmer Wants A Wife are there for the right reasons.

Well, if you've ever thought about opening your heart on national television and potentially moving to the country then you're in luck.

The show has announced it is looking for potential wives to sign up for a show next year.

Chanel 9

"Australia's most successful love show is BACK! The Farmer Wants A Wife is searching for single ladies who are ready to find their soulmate. This is not only Australia's original love show, it's also the best - by a country mile," the ad reads.

It hasn't been on the air since 2016 when Channel 9 cancelled it, however it appears Channel 7 is picking up the slack.

That's not the only thing that the network has managed to wrangle from the grips of their competitors. Channel 7 has also won the rights to Big Brother Australia and announced last week that applications were open for that as well.

But if neither of those shows tickle your fancy and you consider yourself a bit of a roughrider then maybe Survivor Australia is more your thing.

The Channel 10 show announced over the weekend that applications were now open to apply for their competition next year.

It's non-stop entertainment heading our way but if you want to be in the thick of it then you have to apply early and make sure you stand out for producers or you'll be lost in the probably thousands of applications.
