Filming Has Finished For 'Deadpool 2' and 'X-Men: Dark Phoenix'

Filming for Marvel releases Deadpool 2 and X-Men: Dark Phoenix wrapped yesterday.

"Thank you to our beloved Captain, Mr. David Leitch... words are too clumsy to properly acknowledge your giant heart and talent. I love my hometown of Vancouver and our obscenely gifted crew.

"From our PA's, (who are first in and last out) to our set decorators and prop departments, riddling this film with Easter Eggs in almost every scene... Thank you. I already miss being on set.

"Which is why I've decided to continue shooting the film in my underwear from Josh Brolin's well appointed living room. #MaximumEffort"

His fans were loving it. One commented on the post: "Ryan, you are tearing a very large hole full of amazing wonder into this rising X-Men universe. I thank you very much sir. Watched all your films since Van Wilder."

Another added: "My husband and I are so happy and can't wait to see number two! When we first got married we had no cable, wifi, sometimes food. Only one room had anything in it but we played dead pool one over and over."

The film is set to star Ryan Reynolds as the lead role, with Zazie Beetz joining as Domino and Josh Brolin joining as Cable.

Other cast members include: Jack Kesy, Shioli Kutsuna, Julian Dennison, T.J. Miller, Morena Baccarin, Brianna Hildebrand, Stefan Kapacic, Leslie Uggams, and Karan Soni.
