Recently everywhere you turn, all you seem to see is something to do with Game of Thrones.
Season six premiered on Sunday and everyone stopped everything they were doing to feast their eyes on the long awaited first episode.
It was that big, in fact, that it caused a big drop in Pornhub's traffic.
Given that porn is a universal language and Pornhub is a global website, used at all hours, you'd imagine it'd take something pretty huge to put a dent in the site's traffic.
I think we can all agree that this is easily the best way to measure the popularity of GoT.

I guess it says a lot about us as a gender that within an hour of the episode finishing we all collectively helped get the traffic back on track. Although, it is odd to think that the thought process that went on with most people was "now that's finished, what shall I do?... Crack one out."
The site did, however, see a rise in searches relating to Game of Thrones throughout the day season six premiered.
Search terms relating to the series rose by 370%, whether that was by a character/actresses name, porn parodies or specific sex scenes from GoT.

It's pretty impressive to have this kind of effect on porn. I think a well done is in order.
