He's shown little remorse.

Harrison Ford has revealed exactly why he punched Ryan Gosling in the face while filming Blade Runner 2049, claiming the incident was entirely Gosling's fault.

It's the first time that Ford has opened up about the leathering, although Gosling played down the incident back in December last year, joking 'you shouldn't meet your heroes'.

Speaking to GQ, Gosling said: "Yeah, he did [punch me in the face]. It was kind of, you know, a rite of passage. We were just doing a fight scene and, you know, it just happened.

"But what was funny was, when it was over, they brought ice for my face, and Harrison pushed me out of the way and stuck his fist in the ice. I asked him the other day where he got his sense of humour from - was it from his mother or his father? He said, 'Sears' (shop). And he didn't have much time to shop around so he just had to grab one and get out."

Ford's has now spoke to GQ himself, in the latest edition he said he punched his co-star because '[Ryan Gosling's] face was where it should not have been'.

Ford said: "His job was to be out of the range of the punch. My job was also to make sure that I pulled the punch.

"But we were moving, and the camera was moving, so I had to be aware of the angle to the camera to make the punch look good.

"You know, I threw about a hundred punches in the shooting of it, and I only hit him once."

Gosling also previously explained the aftermath of the incident, explaining: ""He came by afterward with this bottle of scotch, and I thought, 'Oh, I knew this was coming'. And he pulled out a glass from his pocket, poured me a glass, and walked away with the rest of the bottle.

"So I guess he felt like he didn't connect enough to earn a whole bottle."

To be fair, I rate the fact Harrison seems to have zero remorse about the incident: live by the sword; die by the sword.
