Keanu Reeves Has Confirmed The Official Title For 'John Wick 3'
We've just been calling it John Wick 3 for the last while, but now we finally know what we should actually be calling the new John Wick film.
John Wick 3: Parabellum.
Yep, there we have it, one extra word stuck on to what we were already calling it anyway.
What, I hear you ask, does Parabellum even mean? Although the word is a type of semi-automatic pistol or machine gun, it's actually taken from a famous saying.
'Si vis pacem, para bellum' translates as, 'If you want peace, prepare for war.'

Seems about right, given where we left John Wick at the end of the second instalment.
There's going to be a host of assassins after him now that there's a $14 million bounty on his head, after Wick killed a member of The High Table.

The official synopsis reads: John should have already been executed, except the Continental's manager, Winston, has given him a one-hour grace period before he's 'Excommunicado' - membership revoked, banned from all services and cut off from other members. John uses the service industry to stay alive as he fights and kills his way out of New York City.

John Wick was a legendary assassin who went into retirement once he got married. Once his wife died though, and a load of thugs killed his dog and stole his car, he went back to his violent ways.
In the second film, he got dragged even further into the criminal underworld and lost the protection of the Hotel Continental.
This third film will follow him as he runs away to save his own life, with a one-hour grace period from the Hotel Continental to get as far as possible.
He'll fight and kill his way out of New York City.
Reeves was seen filming scenes at Times Square in Manhattan recently, with huge rain machines adding drama to the scene. He was also scene filming a fight scene in Grand Central Station.
The third installment wil also star Halle Berry, Jason Mantzoukas, and Ruby Rose.
Berry confirmed her involvement in the film - her first appearance in the franchise - in a post on her Instagram back in May. She'd written, "See you in a year, Mr Wick" on a piece of Hotel Continental stationery.
John Wick 3: Parabellum will be out in cinemas in the UK on 17 May 2019.
