Sean Astin Teases Fans Of 'The Goonies' With Sequel Hints

Good news Goonies fans, Sean Astin has teased us again by hinting that a sequel will eventually happen.

According to comicbook.com, Astin, appearing as a special guest at Phoenix Comicon on Friday, gave a small tidbit of the plot of Goonies 2, saying that it'll see the return of One-Eyed Willy.

He told the crowd: "In the original Goonies, it's not the only time Mikey will come face-to-face with One-Eyed Willy," which was followed by a smattering of ooohs.

In the original, Mikey, Astin's character, became the leader of The Goonies' mission to find One-Eyed Willy's treasure, after he found a map in his parent's attic.

After navigating through a large amount of elaborate booby traps set up by the pirate, Mikey and the Goonies eventually found the treasure.

But let's be honest, no one's that bothered about all that. We all just want to see an updated version of the 'Truffle Shuffle'.
