Netflix's latest horror movie, Veronica, left a lot of viewers in need of a change of undies after viewing. But it's far from the only scary film on the streaming service to have whipped people up into a frenzy.

Following the hype around Veronica, Netflix began to spot trends in horror fans' viewing habits, noticing that there were certain films that - according to the streaming service provider - were so terrifying that viewers couldn't even make it to the end without turning them off.

Obviously, it could be that a couple of these films are just so shit that people opted not to waste any more of their lives watching them, but we'll leave that up to you to decide.

One movie that made it onto Netflix's list was 2016's Cabin Fever - a remake of the 2002 film of the same name (directed by 'torture porn' horror specialist Eli Roth) which currently holds a rating of 0 percent on review aggregator Rotten Tomatoes, based on 28 reviews.

We can probably all agree on why people have been switching that one off midway through.

Also featured was The Conjuring, which terrified viewers when it was released back in 2013, telling the story of two paranormal investigators in the 1970s who are hired to unravel the facts behind a supernatural presence in a family's rural farmhouse.

A large chunk of Netflix users were also seemingly scared into switching off before the ending of JeruZalem - a biblical horror in which a group of friends in Jerusalem find themselves trapped when the city is besieged by winged demons.

One of the most disturbing films on the list, which was almost universally agreed upon by critics to be worthy of a pant-shitting, was Raw.

The Belgian film tells tale of a strict vegetarian who, during her first week of veterinary school, tastes raw meat for the first time and develops on overpowering hunger for flesh.

The movie holds the best reviews of any on Netflix's list and has been called 'shockingly well made for a debut feature' and 'nightmare fuel'.

If you really want to chance a film where you might not make it all the way though, then this is probably the one to go for.

Also featured and in no particular order were: Teeth, Pirhana, The Void, The Human Centipede 2, Mexican Babaro and Carnage Park.

Think you've got what it takes to make it through the lot of them? Why not log onto Netflix and give it a go for yourself right now?
