There's A New Comedy Series From Will Ferrell And Adam McKay
It's the news we've all been waiting for, even if we didn't know we were: Will Ferrell and Adam KcKay, executive producers of cult comedies Step Brothers and Anchorman, have joined up again to make a brand-new comedy series.
No Activity is set amidst a drug bust and follows two low-ranking cops who spend a lot of time together; two criminals, two dispatch workers, who unlike the cops, don't get along; and two Mexicans who are creating a tunnel and are forced to spend time in a very small space together. Yeah, it sounds weird. But if anyone can successfully pull off weird and funny it's Will Ferrell.

Anyone else is stupidly excited for this already?
The series is based on an Australian series of the same name, if you're a fan of the original, you'll be pleased to know its creators worked on the remake as show-runners and executive producers. How's that for the seal of approval?

And I have even better news, you don't have a very long wait to see the show as it premiers on 12 November on CBS, with new episodes available every Sunday exclusively for All Access subscribers.
Marc DeBevoise, president and chief operating officer of CBS Interactive told Variety: "This is definitely not your average comedy; in addition to the all-star comedic cast, we have the incomparable creative team of Will Ferrell, Adam McKay and Funny Or Die behind the series who are innovators in their field and will undoubtedly keep viewers laughing each week."
It's the first comedy original comedy series from CBS All Access, and it looks like the team are keen to make a strong start by getting such comedy heavy-weight involved.
The show stars Patrick Brammall, who starred in the original, and Tim Meadows as the two cops and will feature a bunch of guest stars over the coming weeks, including one by Ferrell himself. I can't wait to see this.
