Amazing news, everybody - a Zombieland sequel is on its way and will be reuniting the original cast members.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, Jesse Eisenerg, Woody Harrelson, Emma Stone and Abigail Breslin are all signed up for the new movie, which is being directed by Ruben Fleischer and written by the Zombieland writers Paul Wernick and Rhett Reese.

The movie is due to begin production in January next year and will follow the adventures of the survivors, who we last saw travelling across the US.
The sequel is tipped to see the group facing off against a more evolved form of zombie than we saw in the original, as well as meeting up with some new survivors.
I'll be heartbroken if they don't somehow manage to get Bill Murray back in, too.

Columbia Pictures president Sanford Panitch, told the Hollywood Reporter in a statement: "This is one of those projects that fans have wanted to see happen for a long time - and no one wanted to see it happen more than Emma, Woody, Jesse and Abigail.
"These are some of the most in-demand actors, and I think they are making this movie because they love these characters. We are thrilled Ruben was willing to come back to direct the sequel, as his work on Venom has been truly amazing."
The sequel is set to be released in October next year, to coincide with the ten-year anniversary of the original.
