Fans reckon Daniel Radcliffe would be the perfect Wolverine after seeing him in new role

Fans reckon Daniel Radcliffe would be the perfect Wolverine after seeing him in new role

He's the perfect height and now has the body to rival Hugh Jackman's performance.

People have been well and truly blown away by Daniel Radcliffe's incredible body transformation for a new role.

The Harry Potter legend was seen in just his tighty whities in the TBS show Miracle Workers.

Radcliffe has played several roles across the four seasons of the series and the latest instalment sees him portray road warrior Sid.

Sid lives in a postnuclear apocalyptic world and surely there must have been a gym in this realm because Sid is jacked.

He has muscles on muscles and people couldn't believe their eyes.

But it has also led to fans saying this is the perfect moment for him to become a superhero.

Which one, you ask? Well, there is one name that is on everyone's lips.

One said on Twitter/X: "Daniel Radcliffe should definitely get a screen test for Wolverine. I really believe he could do it and give an AMAZING performance that would thrill and satisfy comic fans, new and old."

Another added: "HOLY S***!!! Anyone seen Daniel Radcliffe lately?! I'm sold that dude is the new Wolverine lol."

A third wrote: "Another incredible season of @miracletbs! I feel like that last episode was Daniel Radcliffe's audition for Wolverine lol."

Funnily enough, this isn't the first time Radcliffe's name has been attached to the superhero.

The character was famously played by Hugh Jackman for years.

The Australian actor decided to finally hang up the adamantium claws with 2017's Logan, however he's decided to come back for one last run in Deadpool 3.

Before this big announcement, there was a lot of speculation that Radcliffe could be subbed in.

When he was asked whether he'd like to play the iconic superhero, he told ComicBook.com: “So many times, people come to me like, ‘Hey man, heard about the Wolverine news, that’s pretty cool.’ No, I don’t know anything about it'."

Ge added: “I appreciate that somebody is clearly going like ‘Wolverine’s actually short in the comic books, you should get like a short guy to do it!’ I don’t see them going from Hugh Jackman to me.

“But who knows? Prove me wrong, Marvel.”

In the comic-books Wolverine is described as being 5’3”. Guess how tall Radcliffe is...5'4".

So go on Marvel, prove everyone wrong.
