The search for four fantastic actors is officially over, as Marvel has announced it has finally got the cast for the new film.

Plenty of incredible stars have already lent their talents to the superhero series, including Jessica Alba, Ioan Gruffudd, Chris Evans, Michael B. Jordan, Miles Teller and Kate Mara, so they've got big shoes to fill.

There has been plenty of speculation surrounding who will take on the iconic characters who boast extraordinary powers over the years, but you can now finally stop wondering who will be in the next Fantastic Four film.

The highly-anticipated movie is set to be released in cinemas on 25 July, 2025, so don't go rushing to book a seat just yet.

However, you can start to get excited to see how the all-star cast - Pedro Pascal, Vanessa Kirby, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, and Joseph Quinn - will perform as the legendary foursome.

The news was announced on social media earlier today (14 February) to give movie fans a bit of a treat on Valentine's Day and the accompanying artwork really wowed people.

It shows Pascal, Kirby, Moss-Bachrach and Quinn all dressed up in their Fantastic Four gear in a living room while celebrating the day of love.

Eagle-eyed users also picked up on a few easter eggs hidden in the background - such as the robot H.E.R.B.I.E. lurking behind them and an image on the wall of The Thing as a NASA astronaut before he got hit by cosmic radiation.

Marvel announced the cast with some incredible artwork on Valentine's Day.

The caption to the post read: "Happy Valentine’s Day from Marvel’s First Family! Pedro Pascal, Vanessa Kirby, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, and Joseph Quinn are The Fantastic Four."

Pascal will take on the role of Reed Richard aka Mr Fantastic, Kirby will star as Sue Storm who is better known as The Invisible Woman and Quinn will play her brother Johnny Storm, who has the nickname The Human Torch.

And last but not least, Moss-Bachrach will become Ben Grimm, or The Thing, in the upcoming flick.

Marvel fans were obviously buzzing to finally find out the line-up, as one person wrote: "Joseph Quinn is gonna be awesome as Johnny!!"

"Can't wait for Pedro to play Richards!" another said, while a third said: "Fantastic cast! It's gonna be an exciting watch for sure."

However, a few people pointed out they'd missed an incredible opportunity when it came to casting.

A few fans would have preferred to see John Krasinki over Pedro Pascal.

One said: "I still wished they would’ve gave us John Krasinski and Emily Blunt."

Another said: "John Krasinski and Emily Blunt you will always be my Reed Richards and Sue Storm."

A third wrote: "Really wanted John Krasinski and Emily Blunt as Reed and Sue but I guess this will do. Ebon and Quinn perfect for their roles."

As you can gather, a lot of people would have liked if the real-life couple Krasinski and Blunt to star in Fantastic Four.

The Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness actor has previously voiced his interest in taking on the role of Mr Fantastic.

John Krasinski previously played Reed Richards in Doctor Strange: The Multiverse of Madness.

Speaking to Total Film, he said: "You're like, 'Do you have any interest in not shattering people's dreams?' I would love to be in the Marvel universe.

"I love those movies because they're fun, but I also think they're really well done. And certainly a lot of my friends are in those movies. I have no idea what [Marvel] are thinking.

"But if they are considering me for Mr. Fantastic, continue to consider me because I would love it."
