Harry Potter star joins OnlyFans 'to help pay off her debts'

Starring opposite Rupert Grint as Ron Weasley in many of her scenes, she's joined OnlyFans to help her money issues

One of the actors who made their name through the Harry Potter franchise has revealed she is joining OnlyFans.

And in joining the subscription platform, she has informed people what they can expect from her on the app and website that is used overwhelmingly by models selling explicit content, including Mia Khalifa, Bella Thorne, Bhad Bhabie, and Mia Malkova.

Booming in popularity since the Covid pandemic when people were stuck in their homes for long periods with little to do, OnlyFans now brings in a combined $1.3 billion revenue a year, shared between creators and the platform, which takes a 20 percent cut of subscription fees.

It has become a legitimate income stream for millions of people around the world, with roughly four million creators using the platform.

And it is a platform that one Harry Potter actress has taken too.

Jessie Cave starred in the film franchise as girlfriend of Ron Weasley, Lavender Brown, appearing in Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince as well as Deathly Hallows part one and two.

Now 37 years old, she is still acting and performing starring in a number of TV shows and movies since the Potter franchise came to an end in 2011.

As for what people can expect from her, she says don't expect sexual content. Instead, it'll focus on fetish content.

Her plans for the platform aren't permanent either, saying she only plans to stay on OnlyFans for around one year.

Speaking on her Before We Break Up Again podcast, Cave said: “I’m launching an OnlyFans, it’s not a sexual one. It’s a fetish.

"Fetish doesn’t necessarily mean sexual... I'm not putting my boobs out."

She added: "This is entirely for hair based content. It's very much geared towards people who have an interested or fetish with hair.

"I do a lot of videos with my hair on Instagram and I have now for a while, and I just noticed that there's a lot of... it's never dirty comments but I do get lots of interest in the hair thing. I just thought f**k it I'm going to do something that is very niche."

Cave said it has been 'liberating and empowering' after spending her adult years as a 'very straight, prim actress'.

"This is very much a way of me saying, 'okay, I'm doing something that is not normal, this is weird and a bit kinky'," she said.

Over on Substack, Cave said she will use the money from the account to pay off her debts as well as renovate her house, including getting a new roof.

Cave isn't the first person to use OnlyFans to sell fetish content, with one man making £20,000 a year through selling videos of him breaking wind. Yes, really.

He moved to the company from Reach plc where he enjoyed spells as a content editor and senior reporter for one of the country's most-read local news brands, LancsLive. When he's not in work, Tom spends his adult life as a suffering Manchester United supporter after a childhood filled with trebles and Premier League titles. You can't have it all forever, I suppose.
