Few movie franchises have captured people's imagination quite like Harry Potter, and it’s no surprise that fans keep coming back to binge the films year after year
The iconic series catapulted Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, and Rupert Grint into stardom and have immortalised the likes of Maggie Smith and Michael Gambon.
Even to this day, the thought that it's over is a tough one for many Potterheads to accept.

And emotions have run high recently after a resurfaced clip of the famous trio hit fans right in the feels, as they learnt something new about the final scene ever filmed for the saga.
In a TikTok with more than 1.8 million views, the there stars can be seen gearing up to film their final ever scene together, which Radcliffe calls a 'melancholy' moment.
The weird thing about it, though, is that said scene wasn't even for the final movie. Yes, really.

In the clip, Watson asks the director, 'Is this the last shot?' and later jokes that it's such an 'ironic' way to wrap up her time as Hermione Granger.
Radcliffe is also seen standing next to a member of the film crew, discussing the shoot and what it means.
"Last day on Potter, so slightly melancholy," he says.
The second clip captured a moment between Radcliffe and another crew member, with Harry telling him: "The last time you'll give me the glasses, than you, Tom."

According to the TikTok, their last ever scene was shot for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part One and saw the trio make a hasty escape from the Ministry of Magic after their Polyjuice Potion disguise wears off.
Still rocking the disguise outfits, Harry, Ron, and Hermione have to run away and jump to freedom in a scene they describe as a 'final leap'.

The emotional clip captured the attention of Potter fans, with many in disbelief that this was the last scene ever filmed. One fan wrote, "What? The last shot ever was from the escape from the ministry in the first movie?"
Others were moved by the clip, with one fan commenting, "I can't imagine the emotions of that day. They spent their whole childhood being those characters and being in that world."
Another pointed out: "They all grew up together."
