The hype around new thriller Adolescence is continuing to grow and fans are seemingly loving the non-stop action format of the four-part series.

After landing on Netflix on 13 March, viewers have been leaving rave reviews of the drama, with a 100 per cent rating on Rotten Tomatoes so far.

Stephen Graham stars as the father of a young boy accused of murdering a classmate from school, with the series exploring the worrying growth of toxic masculinity amongst young men.

The series has even caught the attention of celebrities such as Jeremy Clarkson, as the former Top Gear star took to X to demand answers from Netflix regarding one particular 'impossible' shot at the end of episode two. If you've watched it, you'll know which one he means.

Owen Cooper has also impressed fans in what is his first-ever acting role at the age of 15, and with the series offering just four episodes, those who have finished it are already thirsty for more.

Fortunately for them, there is another Stephen Graham film, which like Adolescence, is also filmed entirely in one continous shot, and fans are now urging others to add it to their watchlist.

It's called Boiling Point, and is a 2021 film from Adolescence director Philip Barantini, which also stars Stephen Graham as Andy Jones, a head chef at one of London's hottest restaurants.

He is forced to deal with a visit from health inspectors on what is one of the busiest nights of the year.

Adolescence fans on social media are now urging others to take 90 minutes out of their day to sit through the stress of Boiling Point, which perfectly sums up what it's like to work in a restaurant. As formerly the world's worst waiter known for dropping horseradish on a customer's suit and accidentally dipping my tie in someone's soup, the film simply brings back too many painful memories for me. But you'll probably love it.

Here are some tweets from fans begging people to watch the film.

Such was the success of the film, it was later taken on by the BBC, who in 2023 launched a four-part series which follows the characters from the film into a new restaurant setting.

Graham later said that the series was one of the 'finest things' he had worked on, although presumably Adolescence would also feature on the actor's list, given its huge success in the past week.

So, if you like edge-of-your-seat drama where the nature of the one-take means its impossible to avert your eyes, then Boiling Point is the perfect film for you.

It's available to watch on Amazon Prime now.
