He still remembers meeting during auditions

A pair of child actors who starred in School of Rock are now engaged after finding love after the hit movie.

If you can believe it, it’s been over a whole two decades since the iconic film hit our screens so obviously, the school kids are all pretty grown up.

The comedy, of course, starred Jack Black as well as a young Miranda Cosgrove. But some of the cast have since totally left acting behind in pursuit of other careers.

Although, while Caitlin Hale (who played Marta aka ‘Blondie) went on to work as a sonographer, she did keep up with something from her film days – her co-stars.

She’s been dating Angelo Massagli since 2016, who played Frankie the ‘tough guy’ in the cult classic.

He previously explained to Inside Edition that he learned Hale was moving to Florida, where he was living at the time, thanks to ‘a group chat where all the School of Rock kids, we just hit each other up whenever someone moves somewhere new or is doing something different’.

And she added: “The rest is history. This is locked down. Yes. This is it.”

Just a few days ago, Hale took to Instagram to share a ‘sneak peek’ at a set of professional snaps of the pair, where she seems to have a rock on her wedding finger.

The same photos were also shared by a photographer in late August as he wrote: “Some moments don't need words—they need to be felt.

“Caitlin and Angelo brought their undeniable chemistry to this engagement session, and the result is pure sophistication. Their elegant style combined with the soft, natural light perfectly highlights their connection against the backdrop of the city.

“Every detail of these moments was about capturing their story in a way that feels timeless yet distinctly modern.

“When love is this effortless, the images speak for themselves.”

Co-star Rivkah Reyes commented on Hale’s post to simply say: “BABESSS.”

And fans joked: “So rock n roll IS about scoring chicks!”

As another said: “Congratulations to the actors who played my two favorite characters in School of Rock!”

With one simply writing: “Hell yeah!”

Despite it being so long ago now, Massagli does still remember the first time he met Hale, during his audition for the film.

“I get in there and the little blonde girl next to me, she gets called in first and she starts singing show tunes and just blows the roof off the place,” he said. “It was excellent."
