Star of the new Superman movie Rachel Brosnahan has joked that she 'made out' with Clark Kent for 'four hours.'
The American actor, 35, plays Lois Lane in the James Gunn, 58, led DC flick alongside new frontman David Corenswet, 32.
This rendition of the movie features Superman already three years into his journey as Earth’s protector, managing his Kryptonian legacy with his human upbringing in Smallville.
Gunn’s appears to give the character a bit more emotion as he tackles modern geopolitical tensions through a fictional war.

Nicholas Hoult portrays Lex Luthor, Superman's arch-enemy, as other members of the cast include Skyler Gisondo as Jimmy Olsen, Nathan Fillion as Guy Gardner and Isabela Merced as Hawkgirl.
Whilst out promoting the film, Brosnahan appeared on a panel alongside Gunn where she made a comment about her first scene with Superman.

In a clip that's floating around social media, the actor is heard saying: "It did help that our first scene together, we made out for like four hours and then shot the rest of it."
As the crowd got a bit excited, the director of the movie interjected: "On screen, yes!"

It comes after two kissing scenes were cut from Superman in India, after it was branded as 'overly sensual' by India’s Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC).
Variety reports that one scene showing the couple share a mid-air kiss, which the outlet claims lasted 33 seconds, was removed from their version of the movie.

According to local reports, the 'overly sensual' nature of the kiss made the film achieve a UA (13+) rating before the 7 July certification.

The decision received a fair bit of backlash, as actor Shreya Dhanwanthary said: "If this is true, this is RIDICULOUS!!! Some ridiculous crap happens every day.
"Every. Damn. Day. Sure this is the least of our worries but is something done about anything else? There is some crap every day. Every. Damn. Day."
Digital creator Amol Jamwal added on X: “You can have lewd double meaning jokes in Housefull 5. Beheadings and gory violence in Jaat But…. Superman kissing Lois Lane is where we draw the line.”
"CBFC would allow horrific scenes of violence and sexual assault in a U certified film that kids are freely allowed to watch, but won’t allow consensual kissing in a U/A comic book movie that kids should watch under adult supervision," another complained.
