Terrifier 3's first warning to cinemagoers as movie drops in UK today

Today’s the big day and fans are flocking to the cinema ready to be absolutely scared s***less.

Yep, Terrifier 3 has landed, following nine people walking out of the UK Gala Premiere after just the first scene.

And as footage showed the reactions from the horrified audience, the film has an important first warning to cinema-goers as the movie starts showing today (11 October).

There’s no denying the latest Terrifier film is not for the faint of heart with its excessive amount of gore.

The latest drop in the trilogy carried on the story of Sienna Shaw (played by Lauren LaVera) from the sequel, following her survival of Art the Clown’s rampage.

Directed by Damien Leone, Terrifier 3 sees the evil killer (played by David Howard Thornton) on a festive frenzy as he unleashes chaos on the unsuspecting residents of Miles County as they peacefully drift off to sleep on Christmas Eve. Yeah, not very merry.

And with sick bags on every seat at a previous UK screening, there were also warning posters around the venue.

The film’s official X account shared a snap of these as the premiere events kicked off earlier this month, writing in the caption: “Don’t say we didn’t warn you…”

Stuck up on walls for the brave viewers, the sign reads: “Warning! This film contains extreme violence and excessive gore.

“If you are feeling unwell, please find a member of staff. Staff trained in first aid are on site.”

I mean, a warning outside a film like this would probably be enough to to put me off altogether but at the same time, it’s drawing in plenty of fans looking for a total gore fest.

As one user responded to the post: “This makes me want to see it even more!”

And another echoed: “If my theatre has something like this up I’m taking it.”

Others said ‘the gorier the better’ as someone else said they: “Wonder if they found a way to make it more unsettling than the first two…”

Apparently, the absolutely gory movie has even caused people to faint.

One Rotten Tomatoes verified Australian film critic by the name of Emma Wolfe revealed that two people passed out at her early screening of the film.

Well, they can’t say they weren’t warned, I guess.

The ‘excessively gory’ slasher, Terrifier 3, is now in cinemas.
