Joey and Chandler win Rachel and Monica's apartment
You'll probably recognise this scene - when Joey and Chandler make their grand entrance to their newly acquired master apartment. It's actually in 'The One With The Embryos' (S4 E12), where Phoebe is about to become a surrogate mother to her brother's children. In the episode, the ever-competitive Monica enters into a quiz with Joey and Chandler, when they bet her that they know more about her and Rachel, than the girls know about the guys. The trivia game, with Ross as quiz master, escalates, and the girls end up losing their apartment to Joey and Chandler, who enter a-top their weird sculpture, Pat the Dog.

Pivot! PIVOT!
Ross' obsession with 'pivoting' his new couch up the stairs is another hilarious addition to the top 10. It shows up in 'The One With The Cop' (S5 E16), when Ross decides to buy a new couch for his apartment. Refusing to pay for delivery, he takes on the job himself, adamant that it would be a waste of money. When he gets Rachel to help him carry it up the stairs, he tries to direct her, screaming at her to 'PIVOT'. David Schwimmer later said he's never laughed as much as he did while filming the scene. As for the couch, it gets so damaged from being stuck that they end up cutting it in half and returning it to the store, accepting their offer of $4.

Ross says 'Rachel'
If there's ever been a sure fire way to ruin your wedding, it's saying your ex's name at the altar, as Ross finds out in the 24th episode of season 4. The One With Ross' Wedding, Part 2 sees him getting married to Emily in London, but, instead of saying his wife-to-be's name, he blurts out Rachel's. The wedding between the two was initially meant to last longer, but the writers had to write Emily out of the show, as the actor who played her, Helen Baxendale, didn't want to stay filming in the US while she was pregnant. The episode - and the series - ends with the minister asking her if she wants to carry on. What a cliffhanger.

The Thanksgiving Day turkey
Potentially the most-memed of all the episodes, Monica's turkey-head image will live on forever. From the episode The One With All The Thanksgivings, the turkey actually starts out on Joey's head, where it gets stuck when Joey attempts to scare Chandler. Later on in the episode, Chandler is upset with Monica because of a mix-up with his toe and a carrot when they were younger, and Monica dons the turkey head to try to seek his forgiveness. Putting a fez hat on top of it and glasses on the front, she dances to try and cheer Chandler up, scaring Joey in the process - a lovely full circle on the whole situation. The scene was even recreated by Courteney Cox herself last year.

"WE WERE ON A BREAK!"
OK, so this isn't necessarily one scene, because it is dropped in through loads of episodes. But it's first heard in The One With The Morning After (S3 E16), when Ross wants to justify him sleeping with someone else, or him cheating, depending on your point of view. Rachel goes on to write him a letter, which he gets halfway through but falls asleep, on account of it being "Eighteen pages! FRONT AND BACK!" The debate continues to split public opinion, with people unable to agree on whether or not Ross was free to sleep with whoever he wanted, given that Rachel had said she wanted a break. Ross offered 'a break' to cool off, suggesting they get some 'frozen yoghurt', to which Rachel said: "No! ...a break from us." Sounds like a break to me.
Warner Bros
Unagi
Another Ross one, probably because he's the best character (don't @ me), but The One With Unagi (S6 E17) is absolute top 10 material. When Rachel and Phoebe decide to take self-defence lessons, Ross - ever the know-it-all - reveals he is a karate expert, skilled in the state of total awareness, Unagi. Ross demonstrates his Unagi - which the girls and Chandler go on to tell him is actually a kind of sushi - but he continues to jump out at them, to prove how much of a ninja he is compared to them. They end up pinning him to the ground, telling him to say 'they are unagi', to which Ross famously screams: "It's not something you are, it's something you have!"

Monica Gets Stung By The Jellyfish
It's not clear whether jellyfish stings were always p***ed on, or whether it's been a case of life imitating art and we all just saw it on Friends. But either way, in The One With The Jellyfish (S4 E1) Monica tries out the technique. We see Monica, with Chandler and Joey at the beach. When Monica gets stung, Joey says he remembers a Discovery Channel documentary, saying to pee on them to make them better. Unable to summon a pee, he passes the task over to Chandler. Later on, the three of them walk into the hotel, traumatised by the event.

Ross' Spray Tan
Ross again - The One With Ross' Tan (S10 E3) HAD to be in this list. Trying out spray tans for the first time after getting jealous of Monica's, Ross decides to visit the same salon. After getting smug with the assistant, saying that he obviously understands the process and he has a PHD, it becomes clear that he definitely didn't understand the process. He sprays himself twice on the front, by counting to five, it sprays again. In an attempt to patch it up, he gets another session, but ends up with two more sprays on his front, in a brilliant slapstick performance. He later tells Chandler he 'went to the place his wife recommended', to which Chandler replies: "Was that place the sun?

Smelly Cat
We forget that Friends actually gave us some musical masterpieces, including Smelly Cat. The song, which is instantly recognisable, is one of Phoebe's original tracks, which she plays in Central Perk. That simple, yet catchy melody over dark, haunting lyrics, the song became the show's second theme tune. Taylor Swift even performed it with Lisa Kudrow on her 2015 tour. The track was actually released on 1999 soundtrack album Friends Again, where it was performed by Phoebe Buffay And The Hairballs - an absolute banger.
HBO
The Last One
And it wouldn't be the top 10 scenes without the very final time we saw the group together. Aired on 6 May 2004, The Last One, Part 2 will go down in history. Any Friends fan will be able to remember watching it (if you're old enough). After Ross and Phoebe speak to Monica, who tells them they've gone to the wrong airport to try to stop Rachel from leaving to go to London, Phoebe calls her to tell her there is something wrong with the plane's 'left phalange'. Another passenger hears and the panic causes everyone to leave the plane. Ross gets to declare his love to Rachel, who apologetically leaves anyway. But when he gets home, he listens to his answerphone messages, one of which is Rachel. She realises during the message that she wants to stay with Ross, and midway through an argument with an air hostess the phone cuts off. Ross angrily shouts: "Did she get off the plane?". The door opens and Rachel can be heard saying: "I got off the plane." The very last scene shows us the group going for a final coffee together, with the assumption they all lived happily ever after.
