'Red Dead Redemption 2' Will Be So Realistic Horse's Balls Shrink In The Cold
The game is set to be a prequel to the original, centring on outlaw Arthur Morgan, one of the Dutch Van der Linde gang.
So far details about the story-line are scarce, but we have been treated to some bizarre info about the horse's balls, which is something.
Yup, a new report claims that the game's graphics will be so spot-on the horse's testicles will shrink in cold weather. I don't know if we need that level of realism in our games, but you have to admit that it's pretty bloody impressive.
RockstarIntel has reported that Red Dead Redemption 2 will feature super realistic biological reactions from the horses - including shitting and shrinking balls. Players will also see snowflakes land and melt on Morgan and mud dry up and flake off, which, again sounds pretty mind blowing.
The new game will also amp up the relationship between horse and rider, with how you treat the horse set to have an impact on how they ride. Players will also be able to name their horse, teach it tricks and customise it.
You'll also need to maintain your weaponry, and it could jam or misfire if you let it fall into disrepair.
Players will have the ability to customise clothing and weapons, with clothing choices having an effect on other aspects of game-play, including Morgan's ability to swim.
Although the storyline is strictly under wraps, a general synopsis from Rockstar makes for interesting reading.
Rockstar told GameSpot: "After a robbery goes badly wrong in the western town of Blackwater, Arthur Morgan and the Van der Linde gang are forced to flee.
"With federal agents and the best bounty hunters in the nation massing on their heels, the gang must rob, steal and fight their way across the rugged heartland of America in order to survive.
"As deepening internal divisions threaten to tear the gang apart, Arthur must make a choice between his own ideals and loyalty to the gang who raised him... Red Dead Redemption 2 is an epic tale of life in America at the dawn of the modern age."
Red Dead Redemption 2 will be released on 26 October for Xbox One and PS4.
