Represent Your Favourite House With A Game Of Thrones Gaming Chair

Represent Your Favourite House With A Game Of Thrones Gaming Chair

Now we just need a decent Game of Thrones game to play

With Game of Thrones set to end in just two short weeks, it seems as if everyone is trying to grab a slice of the pie before there is finally none left and it is all over.

With that in mind, a company called Secretlab has teamed up with HBO and together is bringing out a Game of Thrones inspired gaming chair.

Sure, it's not exactly the Iron Throne, but it is the next best thing if you actually want a GoT-themed chair. Anyway, melted swords don't look as comfortable as these.

The surprising thing is that there isn't really a decent Game of Thrones video game. You'd have to imagine that will only be a matter of time, though.

The chairs look pretty swish, and they come in the colours and crests of three huge houses of Westeros.

So, you've gotta decide - are you pledging your gaming allegiance to House Lannister, House Stark, or House Targaryen?

The special chairs are available in Secretlab's existing 'Titan' or 'Omega' types.

The Secretlab website tells us: "Each will be equipped with the models' award-winning features, such as the multi-tilt mechanism, four-directional armrests, Secretlab's signature cold-cured foam as well as the Secretlab TITAN's model-exclusive inbuilt, fully-adjustable lumbar support and the Secretlab OMGEA's highly-acclaimed memory foam lumbar pillow."

Sounds comfy.

You'll have to be quick if you want to get your hands (and arse) on one of these limited edition chairs. They're only making a few of them and they'll only be available in certain regions.

You'd think they'd be gone pretty quickly and once they're gone, they're gone. Be prepared to fork over either £329 or £379, too. That depends on which variety of chair you're after.

Of the collaboration between the two Houses of HBO and Secretlab, the CEO and co-founder of the gaming chair company, Ian Alexander Ang, said: "On top of having an epic storyline, Game of Thrones' aesthetics and art direction are both unprecedented and phenomenal.

"Our designers, being huge fans of its aesthetics, came up with a few GoT concepts that looked so amazing that we had to reach out for a collaboration involving our award-winning chairs.

"GoT fans can now watch the much-awaited Season 8, repping their favourite houses, while reclined on our ultra-comfortable chairs."

All three together.

There you have it then - if you want to watch the last two episodes of the dramatic denouement from the comfort of a specially designed chair, get pre-ordering now.

They just need to release a decent video game, now.

Thinking of getting one of these chairs? Which house would you represent? Come on over to Game of Thrones: Westeros Posting on Facebook and tell us.

The final season of Game of Thrones continues on Sky Atlantic on Monday 13 May at 2am, before being repeated in the UK at 9pm.
