With Glastonbury finally upon us after a three year wait, people are beginning to flock down to Somerset for the biggest festival in the UK. Over 200 thousand people are attending this year's event, and due to a backlog caused by the pandemic, tickets sold out in under 20 minutes!
Although Glastonbury officially starts on Wednesday 22nd, the really big names will start to kick off on the weekend, beginning on Friday evening.
With this in mind, who will be performing at Glastonbury on Saturday?
The Pyramid Stage is the most instantly recognised festival stage in the world, it’s 30m tall and covers a vast 40m x 40m. But who’s performing there on Saturday?

The main headliner will be The Beatles legend Paul McCartney who’s playing from 21:30-23:45, but there are plenty of other artists taking the pyramid stage:
Another legendary Glastonbury stage, previously hosting performances from bands such as Oasis, Blur, and Pulp.
The Other Stage is once again not a disappointment. Megan Thee Stallion will be headlining the stage from 22:30 - 23:30, but that doesn’t come close to completing the list. Here’s who else you can see on the other Stage this Saturday.
This year we have Roisin Murphy headlining the West Holts Stage celebrating over twenty years of dropping bangers in her own uniquely flamboyant style, and she’ll be performing from 22:15 -23:45.

This in no way completes Glastonbury’s lineup for Saturday, as some other big names include Jamie T, Jessie Ware and The Waterboys.
However, with a seemingly infinite amount of artists performing throughout the day there’s always gonna be someone to watch at the festival.
