Anyone who’s seen Home Alone will have found themselves dreaming of spending Christmas Day is the McCallisters’ grand mansion – minus all the booby traps, of course.
Well, now you can do precisely that, as the real life property has been added to Airbnb as a holiday listing.
Located in the Chicago suburb of Winnetka, Illinois, the house has been converted into an Airbnb home for one night only, sleeping four guests in two bedrooms, with 1.5 bathrooms.
It also boasts WiFi, a TV and free parking – although there’s no access to a kitchen, so you won't be able to whip up a Christmas dinner - instead you'll be enjoying some microwaved mac and cheese just like our pint-sized hero does.

The Airbnb listing, which has been written from the perspective of Kevin McCallister’s older brother Buzz, says: “Many Christmases ago, the McCallisters went to Paris – well, most of us.
"Though we’re older and wiser now (I’ve even got my own security firm), we’re never too old for holiday hijinks.
"So while we’re away on vacation (all of us, this time), I’m inviting one crew of mischief makers to let their inner eight-year-olds run free in my childhood home on Dec. 12.
"Booking for this one-night stay opens Dec. 7 at 1 p.m. C.T.”
‘Buzz’, whose bio says he’s ‘grown up’ and is happy to share his ‘childhood home’, continues: “It’s a holiday wish come true: a cozy holiday scene with twinkling lights and a perfectly trimmed tree awaits you at the McCallister ‘castle’ (oh, and so does my pet tarantula – mind watching him for me?), now bookable for the very first time.

“This holiday season, we’re playing by my little bro’s rules, so feel free to eat junk food, watch rubbish on TV, borrow my dad’s aftershave and choose your own adventure with a legendary battle plan as a guide. Just stay out of my room, okay?”
He also says you can ‘feast on all the comfort food your hearts desire’, including ‘plenty of Chicago’s finest pizza and a candlelit dinner of microwavable Kraft Macaroni & Cheese’, before winding down with a viewing of the film franchise’s newest holiday adventure, Home Sweet Home Alone.
The property will cost the four lucky guests just $25 (£18.73), with Airbnb making a donation to Chicago’s La Rabida Children’s Hospital, which is dedicated to maintaining and improving the quality of life for each of its patients with complex conditions, disabilities and chronic illness.

People will be able to request to book a stay at the house from Tuesday 7 December, with the festive overnight trip taking place on 12 December.
Under ‘other things to note’, the listing adds: “A member of my McCallister Security team will ensure a comfortable stay for you and your family, including showing you around, arranging meals and gifting you with a LEGO Ideas Home Alone set to take and build at home.”
Airbnb also said it is ‘closely monitoring Chicago infection rates and government policies and will offer booking guests a $1,000 USD Airbnb travel credit if it becomes necessary to cancel the stay’.
