Jonah Hill has revealed the 'only way' he would be up for making Superbad 2.
The original high school comedy movie came out back in 2007 and is now considered a classic of the genre by many.
A sequel would be warmly welcomed by fans of the flick - which was written by Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg - and star Hill would be up for it.
The 38-year-old, who plays Seth, actually has a very clear idea of how he'd like it to look.
Speaking to W Magazine, he said: "I haven't pitched this to anybody. What I want to do is when we're like 80, do a Superbad 2.
"Like, 'old-folks-home Superbad'. Our spouses die, and we're single again. That's what I want Superbad 2 to be, and that's the only way I would ever make it."
Fair enough - reckon plenty of people would pay to see that.
The question is, do we have to wait another 40 years, or are the cast gonna age up? I for one vote for the latter option.
In the interview, Hill also reflected on how he knew the film was going to change his life 15 years ago.
He said: "I lived in an apartment near Canter's Deli, in Los Angeles, and there was a Superbad billboard above my little-ass apartment.
"Every day, I would walk to Canter’s to get sandwiches, and no one knew who I was, but there was a billboard with me on it right there! It was nuts.
"I kind of got this vibe, like, 'Whoa, s**t's about to be really... different'."
Of course, the actor has gone on to feature in loads of huge films since then, most recently appearing in star-studded Netflix movie Don't Look Up.
It follows the story of two astronomers, played by Leonardo DiCaprio and Jennifer Lawrence, as they attempt to warn an uninterested planet about an inbound meteor.
Hill plays the President's son and chief of staff, which he said he attempted to portray as the human embodiment of the infamous Fyre Festival.
Opening up about how his involvement in the film, he said: "I heard about Don’t Look Up, and I've always been a fan of the director, Adam McKay. He made Step Brothers, which is a modern masterpiece and should be in the Smithsonian.
"He wanted me to play this part where Meryl Streep is my mum! We'd all been stuck in our houses because of Covid, and I was lonely and bored, and I felt like, 'Wow, what a depressing time'.
"Covid was horrific, but it did make me reprioritize the value of being irreverent and funny. I thought, 'We should all just laugh!'
"While in lockdown, during the making of the movie, Leonardo DiCaprio and I decided to live together in Boston. We couldn't go to restaurants, so we lived in a house together and watched tonnes of films."
