The newest release to hit Netflix, Don’t Look Up, boasts an impressive cast filled to the brim with stars including the likes of Leonardo DiCaprio, Timothee Chalamet, Meryl Streep and Chris Evans - to name a few.

Even the famous singers, Ariana Grande and Kid Cudi joined the already huge cast and artistically collaborated on the song ‘Just Look Up’ for the movie’s soundtrack.

Alongside this star-studded cast are two of the most talked-about characters, Kate Dibiasky played by Jennifer Lawrence and Jason Orlean played by Jonah Hill.

The plot follows astronomer Dr Randall Mindy, played by Leonardo DiCaprio who is well-revered for the numerous accolades in his career, alongside his student Kate Dibiasky.

Upon discovering a life-threatening comet that is headed straight for Earth, the pair seek to warn the world of its impending doom through a huge media tour, yet can never seem to be taken seriously.

Jennifer Lawrence, 31, has since commented on the comical element of improvisation that can be seen throughout the film, reminiscing about her time on set spent working with co-star Jonah Hill, 38.

The actress recalled spending a whole day on the Don’t Look Up set with Hill as he improvised various insults to be thrown her way, yet interestingly she framed the experience in a positive light, admitting that she had a great time doing it.

In an interview for the Vanity Fair YouTube channel, Lawrence explained the film’s trailer and revealed that ‘Jonah’s character is the President’s son, but also the Chief-of-Staff, which some might think is nepotism'.

She goes on to say: "He is the worst. It was really, really hard filming with Jonah, and just not ruining take after take, laughing."

Continuing, the actress detailed: "We one time dedicated an entire day to him just improv-ing insults at me. It was amazing.

"He and Meryl are the only ones who really should do that kind of improv. I mean, he’s just a comedic master. We all did some stuff. Just not as well as Jonah."

McKay’s Netflix film has been available for streaming since Dec 24.
