Kanye West Has Been Suspended From Instagram For 24 Hours For Bullying

A spokesperson for Meta said the rapper was using his platform to harass others.

Kanye West has been suspended from Instagram for 24 hours.

A spokesperson for Meta has told TMZ that the rapper has violated their policies on bullying and harassment.

As a result, the Donda star has been booted from the social media site for a day to let him cool off and understand how he's meant to use the platform.

He won't be able to post images or videos, write any comments or send DMs, or upload live streams.

It follows a very hectic few days for Kanye, who has used his Instagram page to hit out at his rivals, in particular Pete Davidson.

He has uploaded videos to tell his fans about the pain he's enduring post-divorce from Kim Kardashian and how he claims he's not able to see his children as much as he'd like.

Kanye's latest outburst was directed at Trevor Noah, where he used a racial slur against the comedian.

The post came after Noah addressed the drama between Kanye, Kim and Pete on The Daily Show.

“You may not feel sorry for Kim because she’s rich and famous, because of the way she dresses, because she appropriates black culture, because she tells women they’re lazy, broke the internet and then didn’t put it back together, whatever, you hate her,” Noah said to the audience.

“But what she’s going through is terrifying to watch, and it shines a spotlight on what so many women go through when they choose to leave.”

Clearly annoyed at the angle that was taken, the rapper uploaded a screenshot of Noah's bio from Google to his Instagram account.

Kanye added the caption: "K**n baya my lord k**n baya K**n baya my lord K**n baya Oooo' lord K**n baya."

Ye was slammed for using derogatory language against Noah and the TV host hit back saying it was a massive disappointment to see one of his idols act in that way.

“There are few artists who have had more of an impact on me than you Ye," Noah wrote on social media.

"You took samples and turned them into symphonies. You took your pain and through the wire turned it into performance perfection.

"I thought differently about how I spend my money because of you, I learned to protect my child-like creativity from grown thoughts because of you, shit I still smile every time I put on my seatbelt because of you.

“You’re an indelible part of my life Ye. Which is why it breaks my heart to see you like this.

"I don’t care if you support Trump and I don’t care if you roast Pete. I do however care when I see you on a path that’s dangerously close to peril and pain."

The Meta spokesperson revealed to Rolling Stone that it would consider harsher penalties if Kanye continues his online behaviour.
