Lance Reddick of Netflix's new Resident Evil series has stolen the show with his performance as the the iconic villain Albert Wesker.
The streaming giant's live-action series based on the Resident Evil video games is yet another take on the horror franchise. The eight episode season released today and follows two new characters created for the series: Jade and Billie Wesker.
The teenager move with their father, Albert Wesker played by Reddick. The 59-year-old actor has won the hearts of the video game with IGN describing him as "phenomenal". Overall, GameSpot said the series is the best adaptation of the franchise.

The sum is no doubt accumulated from his extensive work in TV and movies. Aside from his new role in Resident Evil he has also portrayed the character of Charon in the film series, John Wick alongside Keanu Reeves.
Reddicks's other acclaimed work includes his role as undercover Detective John Basil on Oz, a popular six season series with actor J.K. Simmons and Dean Winters. He also played Matthew Abaddon on the Lost TV Series.
He features in various other works including as Cedric Daniels on critically acclaimed The Wire and Phillip Broyles on Fringe.
In 2013, Reddick bought a has bought a home in Studio City for $1.315 million. The four bedroom and four bathroom home is made up of 3,191 square feet of living space and is on a near third-acre lot with a swimming pool, spa and built-in barbecue.
As a teenager, Reddick studied music at the Peabody Preparatory Institute and completed a summer program teaching music theory and composition at the Walden School. In 1980s he moved to Boston, Massachusetts and then enrolled in the Yale School of Drama in 1991.
