Channing Tatum has resorted to a rather interesting method to promote his latest film.

He's uploaded a naked photo of himself to his Instagram Story to get the word out about The Lost City of D.

The 41-year-old proudly showed off his rig and only had a monkey emoji to cover up his Johnson.

He wrote alongside the picture: "You know when you in the make-up trailer a**hole naked holding a towel over your junk you about to do some s**t on set that you gonna have to prepare ya mama for before she see the movie."

While his body is impressive, he shared that he was flexing so hard for the picture that he suffered a cramp.

Tatum is no stranger to uploading thirst traps to his social media and his fans certainly enjoy it.

He joked that the reason why he's so buff is because he ends up being shirtless or naked in pretty much all of his movies.

Telling The Kelly Clarkson Show, the actor said 'at some point, I have to get better at acting' so that producers don't ask him to take off his clothes.

Channing explained how it's not the worst thing in the world to have to constantly be in shape.

"I literally get to work out as a job, and it's still hard. I can't imagine people who have a 9-to-5 job, who have kids at home, and where do they get the energy and the time to actually focus on themselves?" he told the talkshow host.

But it appears he'll most likely wind up naked or at least semi-naked in his latest movie if the synopsis is anything to go by.

He joins a star-studded cast for The Lost City of D, including Sandra Bullock, Ryan Reynolds, Daniel Radcliffe and Brad Pitt.

The movie plot is as follows: "A reclusive romance novelist (Bullock) on a book tour with her cover model (Tatum) gets swept up in kidnapping attempt that lands them them both in a cutthroat jungle adventure."

What could possibly go wrong?

He's clearly been pushing himself hard in the gym after putting on a bit of weight during the pandemic (didn't we all?).

Tatum told Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show: "For the first week or two weeks, I definitely was just drinking beers and riding dirt bikes but I was like, 'I can't do this for two months. This is bad'."
