Demi Lovato has revealed to their fans a new tattoo on their head.
The 'Dancing With The Devil' singer is no stranger to ink on their body however this one will be pretty prominent if they continue to have a shaved head.
Demi enlisted the help of tattoo artist Dr. Woo to get a fairly scary looking spider imprinted on the side of their head, just above their ear.
If you took a rough glance you wouldn't be alone in screaming and telling the 29-year-old that they had a creepy crawly walking on their noggin.
While spider might look terrifying, Demi revealed the story behind the design.
"It was Grandmother Spider who taught us many things," Lovato wrote on Instagram.
"She taught us about pottery and weaving. She taught us about fire and light and dark. She taught us that we are all connected on the web - each one of us having our own place in this world."
The Spider Grandmother is part of Native American mythology, who presents herself in both human and spider form.
Her story has been passed down through generations and she helps people by 'giving advice or providing medicinal cures'. She's seen as a 'wise individual who represents good things'.
Interestingly, since their tattoo has been posted on Instagram, people have resurfaced a clip where Demi said they are terrified of spiders.
However, one fan suggested this could be the singer's way of showing her growth.
They wrote on Twitter: "I think Demi used to be afraid of spiders so this tattoo could maybe symbolize them facing their fears head on and turning that energy into more not letting fear control them. Kind of like taking it then harnessing and owning it in a new way this era?"
Before the new year finished, Demi revealed that they could no longer live their life as California sober.
The term refers to how an individual commits to using marijuana instead of alcohol and other addictive substances.
Demi singer chose the lifestyle following their drug overdose in 2018, however they have revealed they ditched that mentality in early December.
Writing on an Instagram Story, Demi said: "I no longer support my 'California sober' ways. Sober sober is the only way to be."
After coming out a near-death experience, Lovato said they needed to find balance with taking mind altering substances.
Demi did some soul searching and realised that allowing themself to indulge in one vice meant they weren't tempted to escalate things.
However clearly something changed towards the end of 2021 to warrant them going to sober sober.
